11 cabin crew members, 2 qualified MATS Instructors and approximately 2 months; these are the numbers that add-up and equal to success for 2 partners – Apex Airlines and MATS on 7 March 2014.
MATS is, again, proud to be directly involved in training the cabin crew of the latest airline, Apex Airlines, in Myanmar, and a simple certificate award ceremony was conducted on 11 March 2014.
“Though the ceremony had no great fanfare, the joy and the taste of success filled the room. Everyone was laughing and busy taking photos capturing unforgettable moments,” said Mr Shadrach Sherman Kwok, Head MATS / Training, who handed out the certificate to individual cabin crew.
The training comprised of Cabin Crew Initial Training and Safety Emergency Procedure (SEP), and, of course, Personal Grooming has added a touch of beauty to the training.
A chapter has closed, but another chapter has just begun for all the 11 Apex Airlines cabin crew members as they wear the uniform, drag the cabin bag, walk through airports, board the aircraft and serve the passengers without compromising on safety.
Mr Sherman Kwok added that each cabin crew has much to learn and will learn more as they take to the skies. No one can truly say that he or she has learnt all that a cabin crew needs to know. It is a job whereby knowledge grows with years, so does the knowledge acquired during training … such will be engraved into individual minds as they fly.
